I will be teaching a course this summer at the Frye art museum in seattle. I have been asked to take part in a show at MASS MoCA titled “Badlands: New Horizons in Landscape,” The show deals with the beauty and decline of the landscape with a view towards how it has been depicted throughout history. The show opens in late May and runs for about a year. artists include: Robert Adams, Center For Land Use Interpretation, Anthony Goicolea, Alexis Rockman, Ed Ruscha and others.

My work will be part of the next New American Paintings, the midwest competition winners were announced today & I was selected from over 1300 artists by juror Elizabeth Dunbar, Curator of the Kemper Museum of Contemporary
Art in Kansas City. The book is distributed and sold nationally.
The jurors Michael Gaughan, Angela Strassheim, and Diane Mullin have selected "The Walks I Take Turn Into Paper" to be a part of the next Ephemeral Space show. The show will be held at Tonnage Gallery (Tyler Street Studios, Northeast Minneapolis) on the evening of Saturday, May 12.
